IIT JEE functions video lectures for JEE mains aspirants are designed to bring overall understanding of the entire topic. In this video lecture, we will learn about another JEE maths topic – Functions. Functions are the base of many chapters. In order to score well in your JEE maths examination, you will need to follow this video lecture thoroughly.
Functions are one of the topics of your class 12th curriculum. Calculus is a vast topic which comprises of limits, functions, continuity, differentiation, integration, application of derivatives etc. We will be studying all these in our upcoming videos.
Many students do not learn functions initially and directly start with limits. However, this is the biggest mistake to begin with. Later on at this stage of understanding it becomes difficult for a JEE aspirant to cope up with the curriculum. This means that if you have not learned 1, 2, 3 etc, how is it possible for you to learn addition subtraction etc.
If you do not understand function, it is difficult to understand limit, continuity etc.
In this maths video lectures we insist you to concentrate well in this chapter to bring parity in understanding at later stage. These IIT-JEE video lectures will help you explore the entire topic with great efficiency and practical illustrations.
In functions the first thing to understand is Real numbers. In algebra you must have studied complex numbers as well. Hence we have two types of numbers, real numbers and complex numbers.
Complex numbers are real + imaginary numbers. Real numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 and decimal. Any combination of these eleven things is real numbers including decimal.
In complex numbers we write (i).
Real numbers can be shown on the line both negative and positive sides. Now if a question is asked what is the real number bigger than 1, you may say 2. However, between 1 & 2 also there are several real numbers. This concept is very important and is explained quite well in these JEE video lectures.
You will also be able to understand the relation between two variable, say x & y represented as
f: x-y. Apart from this, you will also be able to understand, real functions, single valued and single variable in this video.
You will also learn illustration on domain and range in these IIT-JEE maths examination videos.
